No strings attached.
It’s not what I really want, but it’s all he has to offer. He’s filled with turmoil and heartache and regrets, but for two hours every Wednesday all he feels is me. How much I desire him, how desperate he makes me, how much I’d like things to be different between us. Real.
He used to be my best friend back before he got married. And now? Now, he’s a young widower. It would be wrong on so many levels to expect something more from him, so I give him what he needs.
But I know I can’t keep this up. I’ve already given him my body, my soul. I want him to have my heart. It might drive him away forever, but that’s a risk I’m willing to take.
Wednesday is an angsty stand-alone told from dual points of view. If you’re in the mood for something quick and dirty, you’ve found it. Proceed at your own risk.
REVIEW
Wednesday was not at all what I was expecting! Kendall Ryan has a talent for writing a synopsis that is so teasing it grabs at you and can completely intrigues you. She does it to me every time! The blurbs for her books are such a tease that I immediately have to know what the book is about!
Wednesday was no different! I had to know what this book was about and completely surprised at the story and love every second of unfolding that mystery!
If you are looking for a quick fast-paced erotic read, this is the book for you. I was able to finish the book in one sitting. It was quick, it was intense and totally captivating with a heart-warming story to go along.
Not going to lie however, it took some time to warm up to our hero, Shaw. You can gather from the synopsis that Shaw has lost his wife and now is at his ex-best-friend’s place every Wednesday night for some hot sex. No talking. Nothing else. Just sex.
Eventually I fell in love with Shaw and Chole both. But Kendall Ryan made sure that these characters had to work for it. And they so totally do!
